Kate Beckinsale appeared in two movies.
In Van Helsing, she appeared as the descendant of an old family that have sworn to destroy Count Dracula. At the ending, she was killed by Helsing who has turned into a werewolf. But before that happened, she was already bitten by Dracula.
She was resurrected in Underworld as a vampire fighting against the Lycans or werewolves. This is her form of vengeance against the werewolves because of what Van Helsing did to her.

That's false, because Viktor started the war by killing Sonja and after that Lucian avenged Sonja's death, Viktor killed Selene's family as well
I think both reasons for selenes revenge are true. Yes Van Helsing kills her in human form and yes Viktor killed her family to get the key to Williams tomb. So both reasons for Selenes revenge are true. RIGHT?

Viktor didn’t kill Selena’s family to get the key to Williams tomb. He’s the one that paid to have Williams tomb/prison built he was given the keys probably the second the building of the Williams prison was complete. It also shows him giving the second part of the key to Sonja when she was a child. When Sonja was killed she had the second part of the key on her body. When Lucian escaped after Sonja’s death He grabbed the key because he associated it with Sonja. I don’t even think he knew it was a key to Williams prison. Viktor killed Selena’s family the same winter Lucian escaped with the key for fear Lucian or someone else would get the location of Williams prison from their blood memories. Killing Selena’s family was kinda pointless because even though Lucian had one part of the key the other part the bigger part was in Viktor’s chest.
I think if George actually found the crown to Gena’s vagina then the earth would have never been destroyed and Melvin would have found love! The fact that the sun rises and falls proves that Mac and cheese is still the bomb and Xena is still the warrior princess!
